Cabela's Plans Grand Opening Events in Hoffman Estates
Festivities to
Include Celebrities and Hunting, Fishing Experts
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Cabela's, the World's
Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, is planning its
grand-opening activities Oct. 5-14, 2007, at its new 185,000-square-foot,
large-format superstore in Hoffman Estates, Ill., in metro Chicago. The
10-day festivities will feature celebrities and hunting and fishing experts
sharing stories and advice.
Special guests attending the grand opening will include hunting and
fishing authorities, expert dog trainers, authors and wildlife artists.
Grand-opening giveaways and special prices on clothing and merchandise
also will be offered. Customers can enter drawings to win a Ford truck; an
African safari; a New Zealand red-stag hunt; a trip to the 2008 Iditarod; a
Texas whitetail management hunt; an Alaska fishing trip; and a trip to
Crocodile Bay Resort in Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., and
Sundays from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Cabela's (http://www.cabelas.com) is
located 20 minutes from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, in the
Prairie Stone Business Park at I-90 and Route 59.
